They Told Us Not To Wonder, As They Encroached Ever Nearer

Lost Tribe Sound McElroy's music is a wonder! His latest effort moves ever further towards encapsulating those perfect moments in the English countryside when the sun drenched, dew coated days of summer are at their peak. There's more of McElroy voice on this one, which shares a quality akin to Nick Drake, but unlike listening to Drake, which sometimes leaves me very lonely, McElroy delivers with such optimism and warmth. It stands in welcome opposition to much of the modern day chamber folk scene. Favorite track: Tarmac.
